Error when user tries to use AMEX was created by cagoffice
Hello,

We recently moved from Moneris to PayPal and we've set up our PayPal to accept AMEX (which works for every other system except CBSubs). I have it checked off in the Payment Gateway settings. Do you know why it wouldn't work?

What's the error? Which PayPal? Standard, Advanced, or Pro?

Who says it's unsupported? PayPal support told you this directly or there's an error/notification in CBSubs stating this? Our PayPal Pro gateway uses Website Payments Pro. Please ensure your account has the appropriate API permissions. If you receive an error please provide the exact error you're seeing. Review CBSubs > Notifications and CBSubs > History Log for error details.

PayPal says:

Looks like at this time, for AMEX the integration would need to be through PayPal Payflow Pro, using Manager Credentials (Partner/Vendor/User/Password) instead of the legacy API (API User/Password/Signature).

Any chance in the future we connect using credentials instead of API? Seems like API is a thing of the past?
