User Parameters field won't display on profile edit Joomla 4

User Parameters field won't display on profile edit Joomla 4 was created by boyjahq
We are in the process of upgrading to Joomla 4 and one thing we find is that the User Parameter field that we include in the Contact Info tab of the user profile has disappeared. 

It displays on our Joomla Joomla! 3.10.12, but it has not  displayed on any of the Joomla 4 versions we have been using (Currently using Joomla 4.4.0)

Settings for the User Parameter field are identical on both sites. The only option that we show in the user profile edit page is the ability to change frontend language.

We use CB nightly builds on this dev site and it is current as of today.

Joomla 4 and 5 provider proper APIs for us to build those parameters now so you need to be sure frontend parameters are enabled in Joomla. Specifically within Users > Manage > Options > User Options ensure "Frontend User Parameters" is set to "Show". Joomla 3 and previous releases were using wonky workarounds for the lack of an API.
