Notifications in groupjive not working was created by mapache64
Hi,

one of my sites with CB (all uptodate) don't send the notifications. The configuration seems to be o.k., like on an other site, (where it is working). The only difference is that the working site has GJ 2.5.rc2, this one who is not working is GJ 2.5.1 - Any bug? Or changing the configuration? I do not have a PMS on it, it is working only by Email.

Any Ideas in which direction I can search?

Joomla version? CB version? What notification exactly isn't working? Are all notifications not sending? Have you checked CB > User Management to see if Mass Mailer is even working to confirm if CB is sending emails at all?

CB 1.8
Gj 2.5.1 , all plugins uptodate.

Now ein installed uddeIM complete but didn't change anything, misterious...
Mass mailer works, also mails to moderators, if somebody will registrate...

How are you testing the notifications? You don't receive notifications for your own actions. To test have a user create a group then navigate to the Notifications page and make what notifications they want. Then have a new user join that group and perform some sort of action regarding those notifications such as a wall post.

I have two accounts in one group for testing. I tried it the way you wrote before. This time now I compare the msql-tables with the site where it is working, damn...
If I can send a mass mail the normal Emails are working, or? Perhaps I can try to deactive all notifications an then active one for testing an dos on...
It is also possible that I give you an admin-password for looking at the site...

Run GJ tools to see if the user even has a notification row. Notifications are working fine in all my tests. You need to detail exactly what notification you're testing as it maybe a specific one not functioning.

Have a user join a group and set to receive a notification for new wall post. Then login as a different user and post on the wall. Now see if the first user received a notification. If they didn't review your configuration in GJ > Config > Notifications to ensure it's configured as necessary.
