This is very doable with CBSubs, you can make a field editable by only moderators or admins via backend by making a field Read Only; even better is to use CB Privacy and setting the field to not be Read Only and instead protect backend edit for moderators only via CB Privacy plugin (available to document subscribers). Please note Read Only fields can only be edited from Joomla Backend under User Management followed by editing the user.

You could also have the link generated automatically if the unique attribute in the link is something like user_id using delimiter field and substitutions. Please see example as follows.
