Intermittent Login Problem

We have recently moved our Joomla site (version 1.5.12) from a Hostgator dedicated web server running CentOS 5 with Apache 1.34 and PHP 5.26 to a Rackspace dedicated server running RedHat EL5 with Apache 2.2 and PHP 5.16.
Since moving the site, we have had intermittent login problems using mod_cblogin trying to login to the front-end of our Joomla site. Especially when attempting to login after a timeout expires the session, it's a pretty sure bet that the login will fail.
Even though the login fails, the backend (admin area) lists the user as logged in, but the user has no access to the front-end areas restricted to logged in users, and the login form remains active (as if the user isn't actually logged in).
I have turned off each module and plugin to determine if it is a conflict with no effect on the problem. I have upgraded the CB version to 1.2.2, and have attempted all of the suggested login fixes here in the forum (htaccess forcing WWW, turning off spoof in comprofiler, etc). The problem persists. Any assistance would be most appreciated. I would rather not disable CB and switch back to standard Joomla login.

Please set Debug Mode to Enabled and Error Reporting to Maximum within Joomla Global Configuration then attempt to duplicate the issue and review any on-screen errors. If none then take note of what time it is and review your server error logs for any potential errors. It's possible there is something configured on your server resulting in the error. Is only CB having this problem? Does Joomla login exhibit the same problem?

There are no Joomla errors when running in debug mode, and no errors reported in the Apache logs. This problem is only impacting the front-end login using mod_cblogin. The back-end (admin) login using standard Joomla login works without incident.
I am quite sure that there is some conflict with our new server setup, as we had CB login working just fine before changing servers, but I simply don't know where to even look, as we aren't getting any errors, just a failed login.

Does Joomla login on frontend experience the same issues? Is your configuration.php within your Joomla root properly configured for your new server? Have you compared PHP Information from your previous server to your new server to help locate any major differences?

I have a site that is experiencing some of this as well after moving to a GoDaddy dedicated server.
I've never experienced it personally, but I have users complaining they can't login.
@RJFang - Not sure if it's related, but would be interested to hear of your experience in tracking this down.
