[SOLVED] Error while installing Facebook connection was created by rcarabelli
Hello,
I recieve the following error while I install the Facebook connect plug:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/rosario/public_html/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfacebookconnect/cb.facebookconnect.php on line 44
I will appreciate any idea of how to solve this.

Please upgrade to PHP5. PHP4 is end of life and no longer supported. The error is happening due to the function declaration "public" in-front of the function. These decelerations will become more and more used as more developers utilize PHP5.
