[SOLVED] css drops out was created by farky
is the css style sheet suppose to drop out whist conecting with Facebook?

I've done a complete fresh community builder install using the default joomla template and style sheet still drops out for about 2 secs whilst connecting with Facebook?

not sure what I'm doing wrong, although really looking to fix this as I think I need to inspire confidence in my site when a user gives their Facebook credentials when logging in.

Many thanks

Drops out? What does drops out mean? The CSS is rendered with the button so wherever the button is rendered via API such as the login module then the CSS is also rendered. A slow loading page could make it seam like the CSS hasn't loaded yet. The only CSS the integration renders is that used to display the login button. Everything else is Facebooks CSS and I have no control of this. Facebook is an external integration; there WILL be delays and/or performance hits (just a downside to potential millions of users ;) ).

Sorry, the plug-in seems to work fine, my concern is after sign in is pressed and authorisation from
facebook is gained, the new authorised page is loaded and in that brief moment the css reloads showing the page without an attached style sheet. (even on a completely clean install)

The page reloads fine and the user is signed in.

This doesn’t happen with the twitter plug-in neither the standard cb login.

So in summary is it the lag in connection between
facebook and my site? Causing this?

Many thanks
Farky

facebook and my site? Causing this?

If it's Facebooks CSS that is messing up yes. If you mean your entire sites CSS is messing up then no. Facebook is slow so you will take a performance hit, but it shouldn't affect YOUR CSS. It can cause THEIR CSS to delay though unless a full page hang is caused. Sense it clears up I believe it's just safe to ignore it. Twitter is about half as heavy as Facebook so there should be very minimal delays.
