Checking my site's load speed at www.octagate.com/service/SiteTimer/?Target=AJAX I get loading errors for:
components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfacebookconnect/ /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfacebookconnect/images/icon.gif
components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfacebookconnect/ /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbfacebookconnect/images/button.png
Any suggestions?

Loading errors? Those images certainly exist and are used through CSS. I can't speak for the tester you're using but Firebug shows no errors.
