Placeholder Value for Web Address Type: Hypertext and URL

5 months 1 week ago #335985 by 4creator
Hello,

Currently, when Web Address is selected as the field type and Hypertext and URL is selected as the Web Address Type, only one Placeholder Value field is displayed and hypertext and URL cannot be set separately.

Is it possible to set individual placeholders?

Thanks

There's no parameter to add a placeholder to the hypertext input so no that's not possible at this time. That field will likely be redone in a CB 3.x to get rid of stored hypertext like that and only accept URL then instead use automatic link preview to fetch the metadata of the URL (e.g. like when you share a link on social media).
