Hi,

I am having trouble with upgrading to CB 1.4 on a Joomla 1.5.23 site. When I install the latest version, and try to edit a user's profile through /administrator, it gives me this error message after saving:

I've tried running through the Components -> CB -> Tools and all come back fine / green.

I found a similar thread but it was closed:

Am I looking at the same issue here? I did not build this site and it came to me with many 3rd party plugins so I'm not sure if one of them would have added a column to the table.

I am able to edit / save users through the core Joomla user manager, but not with CB.

It looks like "lastname" is a valid column in the CB tables, but not "lname" - any suggestions? If possible, can you provide an SQL query that would properly add this column and trick CB into saving the user?

Also, I do not have the CB User Gallery plugin installed.

Thanks for your response. When I go into CB Fields area, I don't see any "non-core" fields in here (see screenshot)

I also changed "error reporting" to "maximum" and no other errors came up below the SQL error message.

Please advise?

Hi,

I have reverted back to CB 1.3.1 and we are also not able to save profile data from either the backend or the frontend. I enabled error reporting / debug and below is what it gives us when saving through the frontend. When you go back in to edit the profile again, any changes are NOT stored. Same with editing from the backend, it doesn't save any field data.

Also I have 3 PDF's containing a list of the modules / plugins / components we have installed:

Maybe one of these extensions is causing issues? Let me know if I can do anything else to help diagnose...
