Vimeo videofile link URL error [Solved] was created by jeroen aalders
When adding a Vimeo URL link to a video field, I receive this error:
"Please link only mp4, ogv, ogg, webm, m4v, youtube"
Even-though, it says it accepts YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
Is there a setting in, for example, the validation, that I should adjust to make the field accept the 2nd standard in online video, Vimeo?
Or is this a known bug, and if so, when will this be fixed?

Vimeo is not supported in Video fields. Not sure where you're seeing that it is. It supports Youtube videos or links directly to a video file.

Vimeo, like Youtube, has URL links directly to their video files? Why does this not work and could it be fixed?

Vimeo does not have direct video file links. The use coded links just like Youtube. Without specific parsing for those coded links they won't validate. There is no support for Vimeo links in CB. It's something planned in a later release.
