hello

I need a little help regarding the ioncube, I'm just going through all the pre-checks from the manual before installing the cbsubs and i need to install the ioncube loader, i have gone to this link www.falkotimme.com/howtos/apache2_ssl_php5_zendoptimizer_ioncubeloader/ (as mentioned in the cbsubs doc) as i am receiving errors when using the ioncube wizard as it cannot find /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini,/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/gd.ini,/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/mcrypt.ini,/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/mysql.ini,/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/mysqli.ini,/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/pdo.ini,/etc/php5/apache2/conf.d/pdo_mysql.ini

I have checked on my VPS and these are missing from the /etc/ directory, i was just a bit confussed as i have apache and php5 already installed for Joomla to work, not sure if I am asking a silly question but will i have to go through these steps from the link above although i have already got apache and php5? although not present in the /etc/ directory.

sorry for my lack of knowledge, have only just started to use a vps server for the first time
