Add Itemid to Registration Wrapper

I am trying to add an "&Itemid=XXX" to my call to "option=com_comprofiler&task=registers". When I add an Itemid to the URL, I get: "Please log in or Register to view or edit your profile" instead of displaying the registration page.

Note that the menu item I am referencing is published to Public on an unused menu, so there should be no restrictions to it.

Any ideas are appreciated.

In order to have an Itemid added to the registration URL you need to be using CB 1.4. Once done create a Joomla internal menu link to CBs registration page as public and published (the menus module does not need to be). This should append the ID of that menu link.

That is the Itemid I have been trying to use. It does not append it automatically when called by URL.

Using Joomla 1.5.22 & CB 1.4

Of course not, the Itemid will only append when generated from CB such as in the login module. If using a direct URL to registration you need to add &Itemid=ID_HERE. The menu link must be public and published that pertains to the ID appended for a user to access it without being logged in however.
