[SOLVED] Request access VS Grant Access - R both possible?

Hi guys,

The "Add connection menu link" is essentially a mean for user_A to Grant access to his profile to user_B.

This usually means that a prior request to access profile_A must have been made by user_B (by email, PM or any other way).

Is there a way to do this directly (essentially to do things in reverse)? Is there a link on which user_B could click while he is visiting profile_A to request full access to user_A's profile? (Assuming that the profile can be partially accessed to all in the first place, and fully accessible only upon request.)

... A link or any device that would achieve the same result.

Thanks

John

As far as I am aware, no there's nothing that really offers this. You could use CB Privacy and users could configure their fields to be displayed to Connections only. Then viewing users could request a connection with that user. This would essentially be what you're wanting, but the privacy settings is user choice.

Thanks Kyle. I suspected this would be the case but I had to ask... This was a metaphysical question...:)
