[SOLVED] Workflow improvement was created by KatoKalin
I don´t think this is a bug, but I believe this workflow should be improved. Or maybe there is another way to do this:
When registrations are set to be approve manually the user receives an email when his registration has been approved by a moderator. In case a moderator makes a mistake or changes his mind and first DISapproves a registant and then later approves him, the user does not get an email that he was approved. Thus he never relly knows that his registration got accepted.
This should be changed so that every time gets approved an email gets send out even when a user has been disapproved/rejected before.

Or maybe there is another way to resend the welcome email for such a user?

You can do this with the incubator project CB Emails and setting up an email to send after approval. You can resend welcome emails by disabling and enabling a user from backend typically.

Hmmm. I have just tested this and it did not work for me. I have disabled and enabled a user but no email. :(
So maybe there IS an issue with that?

Yes, they would receive 2 emails as there's no conditional to check if user is approved or not.

So maybe there IS an issue with that?

The user must be disabled entirely (blocked, confirmed, unapproved) as if they were never disapproved or approved to begin with then re-approving should resend.

Yes. That did it. Thanks. You need to set it to "Unapproved" from backend profile edit. Then approving a user again fires the trigger. Thanks.
