User Manager

User Manager was created by scallypoker
I know this has been a topic loads of times before but as a membership organisation I find this the most frustrating part of the excellent community builder.

I have just upgraded to the latest version and now I just can't work out what sort order the user manager is displaying our members in? This is the main screen for what is surely a membership piece of software yet you can't sort it by column and I can't get the members trading name on there just their first and last names.

Isn't it about time that this element of CB was given an overhaul and made a bit more user friendly? I am not a programmer so have no clue about triggers etc and creating my own plugin to sort this out. I just wish that someone would!

Any suggestions?

It's not ordering by anything, the query has no ORDER BY specified. So whatever order your database is providing it in is typically what you'll see.

Certainly, this is exactly what we intend to do with CB 2.0. Many elements will be overhauled to be much more up to date and user friendly. Can't say when CB 2.0 will release, but would assume this year hopefully. We have to avoid any major changes on 1.x due to risk of breaking API, integrations, etc... There's a lot dependent on CB stability and 2.0 will offer us the ability to "start from scratch" more or less (we'll have backwards support for API of course).
