insert exam record to student's own CB profile tab was created by palden
I am building an exam result record database of student and want to insert an exam record and place in CB profile tab. Will be great if you can give me some direction and any material i should follow to study. thanks.
Requirement:
- Display a particular exam record in a webpage with an “ADD” button
- Student can find out his own record and add this record to his own CB profile tab ( my exam result history)
- Finally , each students will have an array of data ( date, exam name, my result)
e.g exam result table
exam name : maths
exam date : Apr 1, 2011
student name Sex (F/M) result
"ADD" Mary F 33
"ADD" Peter M 45
"ADD" Jack M 47

You'll need a entirely new plugin to provide this unfortunately. A good starting point is likely ProfileBook and ProfileGallery as both have a submit feature and a display based off those submissions. Not sure, but an extension that does exactly this could be available at Joomla.org, whether it'd support CB or not I do not know.
