Address group email message to real name rather than username

11 years 4 months ago #216974 by jobbydesign
Using GroupJive version 2.5.2 with Joomla 2.5.7 and CB 1.8.1

I've tried searching for an answer to this, but am not sure I'm searching for the right thing, as I haven't yet found an answer. In email messages sent to group members, I'd like to have the introductory sentence that says "Hello <username>, the following is a message from <group name>." say "Hello <real name>, the following is a message from <group name>." Is there a language string I need to edit? And if so, where do I find that string?

Thanks!

Please upgrade to GJ 2.6.1, you are significantly out of date. Yes it is a language string, please review the English language plugin included with the GJ package.
