Archive of messages

I need the function 'messeges' to send a mail to all members of a group.
Is it possible (like in the old version) to have an archive with old messages and a special view to the last message?

Thank you!

Jens.

If enabled when viewing a group simply click "Message Users" to send a message to all users. There is no archive for this as message are not stored to database, they're sent instantly and discarded. No archiving will be implemented.

It's a pity. In the last version there was this feature - and I used it very often.
Now I have to look for another possibility to manage my groups with my Joomla 1.6
Or have you got any idea to do it with CB and its plugins?

Jens.

There's no triggers associated with notifications. So no there's no way to store to database to create an archive at this time. I've added a feature ticket to implement triggers for notifications so a new plugin would be able to store to database or alter the notification if necessary.
