You're spot on! Although I did install the Ioncube loaders, they did not install correctly. All working now.
For the record, here's what worked for me...
______________________________________________________________________
Installing the Ioncube loaders on your WAMP server / localhost:
- Go to www.ioncube.com/loaders.php
- Download the Windows VC6 (x86) 'Installer' package
- Open and run the installer package
- Install to your wamp directory so that the files end up in c:\wamp\ioncube
- Open the file C<span>:</span><span>\</span>wamp\bin\apache\Apache2.2.11\bin\php.ini in an editor and place the following line at the end of the file:
- zend_extension = "C<span>:</span><span>\</span>wamp\ioncube\ioncube_loader_win_5.3.dll"
- Save the file
- Copy the newly created c:\wamp\ioncube directory to your website development directory (i.e. c:\wamp\www\My-website-name.com\ioncube)
- [NB: It is not possible (well, I couldn't!) to run the installer wizard from the c:\wamp\ioncube directory as suggested in other places]
- Run the Installation Wizard in your web browser using http://localhost/My-website-name.com/ioncube/loader-wizard.php
- Correct any errors the installation wizard flags up
- Restart your WAMPserver
- Go to your localhost website administrator's back end and open the Help - System Info page.
- Open the PHP Information tab and scroll down a little until you see the ZendEngine2 logo - the text under the logo should read something like:
- "This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
- Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2009 Zend Technologies
- with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.0.7, Copyright (c) 2002-2011, by ionCube Ltd."
You're done!
Phil.
