Move all users of a plan to a specific Joomla ACL group

10 years 6 months ago #235847 by pixelkraft
Hi!

I imported my users from Joomla 1.5 into Joomla 3.
I am now having a problem with Docman integration. Docman works with the Joomla ACL.

In the plan setting I set the Joomla usergroup for each plan. That works fine for new registrations, but how to move the existing users I imported from J1.5? They are all just "registered". Is there a way to assign all users of a plan to the right Joomla usergroup?

You can use the batch processing tool within Users > User Manager. Once done run CB > Tools > Sync and you should be ok.

Hi!

You mean the batch mode in the Joomla core user management?
Surely I can do this but there is no way to select users by cbsubs plan. So I have to check every user manually in cbsubs and select him then in the joomla user manager?

Yes, using the batch tool there to change users usergroups will work ok.

Unfortunately I suppose so. CB doesn't currently have batch tools.
