Language change not working

Joomla: 2.5.24
CB: 1.9.1
CBSubs: 3.0.0
In the file components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/cbpaidsubscriptions-en-gb/language.php, I changed the definition of the string "Please click now on this button to pay:" to be simply "", as I do not wish that line to show up. However, the line still shows up in its original form. How can I remove it?
If I change the string to something different, but not empty, the string does not change either. It looks like this string is not being used to generate that line on the page.

That's a parameter string. It may have been saved with some characters that are preventing the language string from matching. You can empty it within CBSubs > Settings > Display > Baskets and by adjusting "Conclusion text" as needed.
