are expired CBsubs users still enabled in Joomla?

I thought CBsubs made block = 1 in the #__users table but all of my expired users now are enabled. Is it ok to disable expired CBsubs users manually in the database or do they need to be unblocked for any reason?

CB 2.3, CBsubs 4.3, PHP 7.1, J! 3.9.X

It only blocks them if you don't allow free registrations without a subscription. This can be adjusted within CBSubs > Settings > Global.

set like this so I'm not sure why most of my users are now set to enabled when they are expired.

Do you have a free lifetime plan that they're subscribed to? Do you have a grace period on your plan that hasn't expired yet? In both cases they'd still be considered active.
