Promotion not Appearing for new registrants

Hi

I had a promotion running successfully last week that has now disappeared for new registrants.

I have made no changes between then and now. Promotion text still appears for 'upgrades' but has disappeared for new registrants.

In the Advanced section of the Promotion the Registration, Upgrade and renewal switches are all set to 'Yes'.

Override plans display is set to Yes, display plans differently as follows:
Display Name and Description is set to: unchanged original text
Display price is set to: Custom as follows - the custom text appears for upgrades but is not displayed for new registrants - the coupon code works, if entered, for both.

Any ideas why it is not appearing for new registrants?

Ii have done all the obvious 'cache' clearance etc.

If it's a coupon code it's not going to alter the text as it needs to be input at the basket. If the promotion is set to always apply then you should see the custom text override, but even then I don't think it works on registration as believe it needs a user object. There is also a bug with promotions coming from a field value not displaying their custom text at all.

OK, so it's a bug then - I shall manually adjust the plan display until fixed. Does it have a bug tracker that I can reference to know when it is fixed?

Yes, we've a bug ticket in place for this but no you won't be able to monitor it. Currently our CBSubs forge is private as it contains sensitive gateway/user data. We'll make it public at some point though once we've gone through and removed any sensitive data.

I now have an old, unpublished, coupon code appearing on the upgrade details for future events! This is becoming embarrassing. I think I'm going to have to find another way to sell the event entry that allows me to use a more reliable discount mechanism.
