Choose which tab to go first from user list was created by Andromeda57
Hi there!

We have different user lists on our site. Is it possible to choose a tab for each user list, where you go first if you click on a user?

For example:

We have user list a and b and the tabs 1 and 2.

If you are in user list a and you click on a user, tab 1 should be shown directly in the user profile. If you are in user list b and you click on a user, tab 2 should be shown directly in the user profile..

Thanks.

It's possible to have tab URLs by adding &tab=TAB_ID to the URL, but it's not possible to modify the profile URL on a userlist by userlist basis. So the only way to do it is to disable userlist linking and add a delimiter field to your userlist that adds a link or button the user can click to go to the users profile so you can customize the URL as needed.

Hello,

and how would a link look like ? If we just take the normal link to tab, the user goes to his own profile and tab..

If you're adding a link to a users profile in a delimiter field it'd look like the following.

<a href="index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=userprofile&user=[user_id]&tab=TAB_NAME_HERE">My Profile</a>

The user id substitution will replace for you automatically, but you need to adjust TAB_NAME_HERE to the name of the tab you want to be open by default.
