How do I delete large batch of users (25000+)

How do I delete large batch of users (25000+) was created by JerryK132
I want to delete a large number of Joomla/CB users and list_limit= 100 is tedious. list_limit=ALL doesn't work as it times out. Can I change the time out, perhaps?

This looked interesting:
forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?t=598299
but it didn't seem to work. Also folder names were slightly different - poss a 3.2.x change

Any other suggestions welcomed.

You can't, you need to do it in smaller batches. There is too much cleanup PHP side for you to be able to delete that amount of users at once without crashing your site (timeout). I guess you could also delete them from Joomlas _users table then try running CB > Tools > Synchronize, but it'll probably timeout due to cleanup.

That's a shame. But what about extensions like JUserPrune (extensions.joomla.org/search?q=prune&q=juserprune) - we are considering testing that. Probably need to select criteria which will not take too long to execute.

Yup, you could try that, and then try running CB > Tools > Synchronize, as Kyle suggested.

Of course backup first as usual when trying new things. ;)
