I am wanting to add some fields from the profile to other pages, have not upgraded to newest cb just released yet.joomla 3.4.8
The user [cb:userfield field="username" /] lives in [cb:userfield field="cb_citystate" /] and his name is: [cb:userfield field="name" /]. and others are not working?

To use substitutions outside of CB you need to install CB Content Bot. Even then wherever you're using that needs to support Joomlas content.prepare. CB Content Bot substitutions must be surrounded with {cb}CONTENT_HERE{/cb}.
