The validation is ajax based. It's not going to show up at the bottom of the page in the query debug log. Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then attempt to save your profile or registration with a value you know will cause it to fail to see if PHP side validation functions. Ensure CB Query Field it self is published within CB > Plugin Management. Also ensure you've latest CB Query Field nightly release installed.

Thanks a million man... the CB Query upgrade did the trick!

I was running 5.0.2.. now 5.0.4.
