Dear,

I was wondering, is it possible to have a plan preselected based on a button/link the users uses?

So, lets say:

The users clicks on "register for plan A!" and goes to the subscription page and there is plan A already selected.

Same for "register for plan B!" of course :-)

Yes. See link description at top of edit plan screen in cbsubs admin area (just add S for selected to the plan id you want pre-selected).

Just checked.
You mean in the backend I can set a subscription plan which is default.

But what I would like.. on my website I would like to promote 2 subscriptions plans.
Based on which plan they click (A or B) they go to the subscription page where based on A or B subscription plan A or B is selected. So in this case a preselection based on the link the user clicks on.

When linking to a plans page you need to specify the plan ID in the URL appended with an "s" to pre-select it. Example URL as follows.

Unselected
index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbpaidsubscriptions&do=displayplans&plans=1

Selected
index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbpaidsubscriptions&do=displayplans&plans=1s

Multiple Plans with Selected
index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=pluginclass&plugin=cbpaidsubscriptions&do=displayplans&plans=1s-2-3-4-5
