Global setting Connections display private was created by degierd
In global CB config, setting connections display to private.
Is Activity updates not respecting that setting? I would expect enabling that setting that users are not able to see each other connections, also no updates being done by connections on the activity tab..

The CB Activity feed does not have any privacy implementations at this time. It will once CB Privacy has been updated with better API so it can protect the stream and individual entries on the stream.
Other users do not see a users connections activity to begin with unless you're talking about the global stream, which isn't showing the connections activity and is actually just directly showing that users activity.
When you view your profile you see your activity and your connections activity. When someone else views your profile they only see your activity.
