[#1299] VAT

Whenever a user enters a Company Name the VAT field appears. Is there a way of turning this off?

Nope, not without modifying the below XML file.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbpaidsubscriptions/xml/edit.front.invoice.xml

You should find a condition <if node with the VAT number parameter in it. You can remove that entire <if node to get rid of the VAT input, but I'm unsure if this will work if you have mandatory invoice address enabled.

No biggie, I was just curious, really do not need it in the US. Can it be added as a feature request? (Ability to disable)

We've a feature ticket already to review removing it when not needed. I've added this topic to its ticket details for reference. For now you can try the XML change if you want, but you'll have to apply it anytime you update CBSubs. You can also try the below CSS to hide it.
