Doesn't matter the location. Language overrides are loaded when language strings are loaded. My guess is your override isn't working because the keys don't match. For example switch to source view when editing the description so your editor doesn't pad it with p elements for example. Next set it to THIS_IS_MY_DESC_KEY then translate that key. This should work fine.

Thanks. The problem was the automatically applied formatting by the editor (both <p> codes and also appears to have problems if there is a space in front of the entry).
