Do NOT show plan to certain user group

7 years 3 months ago #289905 by poml
I have a quick question: In the plan access settings I can select the Visible for Access Level and Visible for Group settings. Is there a way to NOT display a plan to a certain user group?

I have some merchandise on sale. So if someone purchases this merchandise he gets added to a certain user group. I do this because then I can display some other merchandise to this person, because now he is in that user group.

At the same time I want to take away some other merchandise from the user's display, but I cannot figure out how to do that.

Create a view access level that has every group selected that you want to have access to it excluding the usergroup you don't want to have access to it then select that view access level under the Access tab. You can also try conditioning it under the Workflows tab by conditioning against the payment date. Example condition as follows.

First static condition: This condition must be met to allow upgrades:
Date A, Field A or Value A: Payment Date of existing merchandises/donations above
Date B, Field B or Value B: Constant Value or String (CB substitutions can be used)
Value B: 0000-00-00 00:00:00
Condition 1 (> for Dates): A = B (Value A is equal to Value B )

Note never tried the above condition so unsure if it'll work as you're wanting.
