Failed to Install on Joomla 2.5.8 was created by lynnapp
I will be upgrading this week in fact I was trying to get the new CB version installed on my test site.
I get this error
001_pkg_communitybuilder_2.1.2+build.2017.03.31.23.49.38.3bf553c4c.zip is being installed.
001_pkg_communitybuilder_2.1.2+build.2017.03.31.23.49.38.3bf553c4c.zip failed to install!
Installer is uninstalling.
Installer failed to uninstall!
So Do I need to wait until I have Joomla upgraded?
Or is it something else.

Update Joomla first then update CB and any other Joomla extensions installed and once that's done update any installed plugins. Please make a backup before you do any of this.
Joomla 2.5 is EOL. It is not supported by Joomla and thus not supported by us. Everyone should understand CB working on it right now is flat out luck. We do not test Joomla 2.5 anymore.
