AutoAction Field Reset Daily

Is this scenario possible?

Most days a user can login and selects a checkbox if he is available for work that day.

Every evening the checkboxes need to be reset to empty (not checked) for all users.

I am trying to set an AutoAction to clear those checkboxes nightly, and I am not sure how to do that.

The user may not login everyday, so I can't base the AutoAction on the user's actions, it would have to be based on time.

Is AutoAction the right plugin, or is there another way to do this?

I'd just do a simple query then execute the action with CRON daily. If you leave Triggers as None then it can be ran directly using its URL under the global tab of the auto action. You can use that URL in CRON to run the action regularly or I guess manually if you bookmark it for example. Using a Query action you can do something like the below to uncheck the checkbox.

UPDATE `#__comprofiler` SET `cb_checkbox` = 0
