[SOLVED] Update Log Missing after update was created by cagoffice
Hi,
We have updated a bunch of plugins and now the update log is not visible in each users profile.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

The profile update log isn't in profile edit anymore. It's now properly in its own backend view. You should see "Log" button under CB Profile Update Logger within CB > Plugin Management. It can be filtered and sorted now as well. Frontend profile tab is still there though.

Hi,
Is there anyway to adjust this back as it doesn't make sense to leave a profile to navigate to another section to find any updates done to the profile. This will slow our process down as we now have to check multiple places for information that is important for approvals. Everything was in one central location.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Substitute in the profile tab into a Custom HTML. You may need to turn paging off for the tab. The tab in profile edit was significantly limiting. It couldn't have filtering, sorting, or paging. Just wasn't the appropriate location for it.

Can you please explain in more detail how to use the custom module to display this in the profile tab.

Also is there an option to have them appear in both places. The User profile and under the plugin management?
Thanks,

You don't need a module, but a Custom HTML field. You'd then use a tab substitution like the following to substitute in the profile update log tab.

[cb:usertab tab="TAB_ID_HERE" /]

See the substitution tutorial below for further usage information.

www.joomlapolis.com/documentation/279-community-builder/tutorials/18353-using-substitutions-throughout-cb

Also is there an option to have them appear in both places. The User profile and under the plugin management?

No.
