Akeeba - Anti Spam --> Clash was created by webtechplus
Good Evening,
We have a site which is having issues with Community Builder and Akeeba AdminTools

We currently have Anti-Spam running and managing the logins with ReCaptcha Invisible, but either when you log in or when you logout for some reason this then triggers the Akeeba firewall to block the user.

We have updated to the latest release of all associated software packages but we still cannot resolve the issue
We have turned off ReCaptcha, swapped to Recaptcha2...

We know its an issue between the two components has anyone run into this issue and how did you resolve it...

(we have read through a load of old posts but none of the solutions worked)

Thanks for support and feedback
We hope that we can assist you if you need and ask, all the best from the WTP Team

I've no idea what Akeeba could be acting on to do that. Some sort of behavior that triggers during Joomla login events is my best guess. You'll need to contact Akeeba regarding this.

Good morning, 11 hours later and we have not been able to resolve the issue, from what we can tell the source is the interaction between Stackpath, CB and Akeeba

It is related to the AntiSpam application and akeeba that the main issue is being flagged and we need to get the matter resolved URGENTLY.

What we have done is changed the message and flushed the cache in stack path, disabled akeeba issue resolved immediately but this leaves the site unprotected.

What i know is that if i bypass stackpath with a .hosts file we donot get the issue so its pointing back at Stackpath as being the cause somehow.

Is there any reason why AntiSpam and Recaptcha would be triggering Stackpath and Akeeba?

I have no idea. I am not the developer of Stackpath or Akeeba AdminTools. I've no clue what either of them are doing. CB AntiSpam is simply rendering and validating the captcha. You do not have to use reCaptcha though if it reacts negatively with your other extensions then try one of the internal captcha modes.
