Hello folks,
we need to find a better and easier way to offer advanced search to our users (winesocial.co) allowing our users to search by keywords, possibly restricting the search to a series of dropdowns
we are profiling our users, so we would love to be ale to use those, plus location and more, for search
Anyone got any sort of solution or we have to develop our own component?

Your userlists can have whatever search fields you allow. Using simple "any" instead of simple "is" also allows partial searches. The advanced mode offers both exact and partial searching optional to the viewing user. CB Search Bot allows searching CB users using Joomla search as well (not smart search) allowing you to use Joomlas search functionality. Aside from that we don't provide any other search functionality.
