It's being completely redesigned in CB Activity 6.0.0 that I'm currently working on which will fix the issue. It's currently using a select element powered by select2 and am getting rid of the entire select behavior in favor of a custom selection usage like the new emoji usage.

Cool !
BTW can we add some specific actions by auto action to the post area ?

For instance a button with a link to our activation page ? Or a small form php page linking to our hotspot api ?

Specific actions where? To the button row below a post? There's A LOT of triggers in CB Activity so yes it's possible to add all kinds of functionality, but you'll need to be more specific. Suggest creating a new topic though as this post is over a year old and that would be off topic.

BTW I found a fix by adding to override.css
/*fix select2 wrong display on safari*/
.cb_template.select2-container--bootstrap .select2-dropdown .select2-results .select2-results__options .select2-results__option, .select2-results__option
 {
  background-color: var(--white, #fff);
  background: #fff;
}

This works for locations, actions except for themes where the image is loaded after clicking on the button :-(
