Here is an issue we have with cbSubs and we need your help.
CbSubs works fine on our website for years, we can receive payments, subscriptions are handled correctly (activation, expiration, all ok).
The issue we have and we can not understand how to set things up is the payment procedure.
We need to allow our members to pay as guests. We have read almost everything from paypal regarding this issue, we have set everything on our paypal account, but still... the guest checkout displays occasionally. Most of the times the user has to create a paypal account.
Somewhere inside our paypal account settings it mentions that... "PayPal account optional feature is available for buy now, donations, and shopping cart buttons, but not for subscription buttons" and i am wondering if this is related to the fact that CbSubs is for subscriptions. May this be the reason?
In a few words... is there a way to set everything up so that all users who are transferred to paypal to pay, have the ability to pay as guests if they do not have a paypal account?
Is there a related setting in CbSubs?
Please point us to the right direction if you can.

Recurring payments require a PayPal account. There's no getting around that. PayPal does not allow guest recurring payments. Single payments shouldn't require a PayPal account if you've configured that in your PayPal account. You should see an option for this on the Website Payment Preferences page below.
