Paying with 'Sripe' / no email address visible in the payment form

HI - I am using Joomla 3.10.12 / latest CB / latest CB subs. I am using 'Stripe' as a payment service provider and everything works fine. At the moment I am deploying and testing a new version of my website (together with the stripe test environment) .... and when I try to do a test payment with a test user I notice that the email address of this user will not be transmitted anymore and is not visible in the stripe form .... see screendump (PS: in the 'older' but productive version of my website this e-mail address has been transmitted by default)
 
Now the question is .... Is there a setting in the CB subs backend that I have to be set again after a version upgrade of CB subs? .... Because I can't see any corresponding 'switch' that allows me to send the email

We don't send it anymore because when you do it causes stripe to make that input read only. Meaning they can't change it during checkout and they may want to use a different email address for payment (extremely common for businesses). I've no idea why they decided to make it read only when prefilled.

Using customer objects for checkout sessions will prefill everything though. That can be enable in CBSubs Stripe in the checkout parameters section.
