Hello,
We have recently ran into an issue where members are able to pay for their subscription even when they have not been approved. I have confirmed that the setting for moderation approval is on but still members can pay right away.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By default payment is accepted before approval and confirmation. You can change this within your plans to be after confirmation and approval under the workflows tab. You also allow those paying to skip confirmation and approval if you wanted.
