[SOLVED] Question regarding sub plan groups

Hi again,

I have a question regarding sub plan groups and wanted to get your opinion on proceeding. I'm receiving errors and just want to verify that it can be done before spending even more time on it and installing other tools. What I need to do is:

Plan A - everyone in public can register and purchase this plan. They are assigned to it automatically after purchase and are given access to Plan A menus.

Plan B - the admin will assign certain people behind the scenes to this plan. These users can then login and have the option to purchase this plan. They are automatically added to Plan A on purchase and are given access to plan b menus which are underneath Plan A menus.

From what I understand from the documentation, I need the Virtuemart plugin to do this and also to allow discounts or coupons with CBSubs. Is this a correct assumption? I'd prefer just using CBSubs but if I need the plugin with it I will do it.

ps. I wish I had gone with CB the first time around!

Not sure why you'd need Virtuemart to accomplish this. Simply make it a backend available only plan that is also a child of Plan A. Discounts/coupons is not yet available, but is a planned feature for a later release.
