Hi !

It will be my first post on this forum, so Hi every one and thanks for this application B)

But, I got some problems I can't solve. I was looking around for hours and found nothing...

Q1 : I'm triyng to make a architecture where you got companies, and employees in those companies. So, the visitor first register, fill in there profile. And after I want them to create the profile of there company (only if it doesn't already exist), or join the company they work in.
Can CB allow this kind of architecture ?

Q2 : I'm trying with GroupJive but I can't make the name of the group unique, can I make this field unique ? Like the username have to be unique.

Q3 : May I skeep the category part of GroupJive plugin and only have groups ? At this point, I got one category and every group are in, and I'll prefer if I got just isolated groups.

Q4 : May I have a model so that every group look the same : presentation, information, history... Like I have been able to do it for the user presentation.

CB users work on a single level. For example a User can't have Users below them. Am not sure how you'd go about the company -> employee relationship using CB profiles. The best approach is using a directory extension such as Mostree to handle the companies and the registered users be the employees.

Name is not a unique element within GroupJive, sorry. You'd need to edit core code of GJ or develop an integration to force the name as unique.

No, Categories are a major part of GJ core and affect authorization and much more. I suppose you could provide a menu link to just that Category, but users could still navigate to the overview.

No, this is not how GJ works. All groups will have the same features, but they will all have different information based on what users have provided.

Don't believe GroupJive really fits your needs. Its designed to be a community groups type extension similar to Groups on Facebook and other social sites.
