[SOLVED] Can not administer users

[SOLVED] Can not administer users was created by Taboga
I am signed in as an administrator and I can not unblock a registration. (I signed in the front end and registered, went in to the back end with my admin credentials and now I can not change any user info (even my own) I get this:You cannot edit a `administrator`. Only higher-level users have this power.)

What's up with that? I am signed in as administrator and have administrator on my user profile, but I am unable to change anything?

Nant- can you look at this since you have my backend credentials?

I believe this is a Joomla 1.6 / CB 1.4 ACL issue.

Don't really know how to address.

Currently no work around until we've addressed all the recent ACL issues. Each new release of J1.6 seams to break more and more solutions. You can monitor progress on forge where many patchs have already been supplied to address these issues.

I don't think I explained that well enough. In the CB admin: users management: I can not allow newly registered users access to the website. I get the above error message. If this is a bug and no work around...it renders CB useless. I am signed in as Administrator/super user and see my self in user management as that, however I get the above error

It does not render CB useless. There's just issues regarding editing users in user management. We've a forge ticket in place to address this. The most stable J1.6 release with CB is 1.6.1. Super Users can edit users correctly from backend, but standard Administrators and Managers can not due to a bug.

I am an administrator and a super user and I still get that error.
How am I supposed to grant access to someone on my webstie? I am also running the most stable version of Joomla 1.6
