Ajax Email checker in Backend - how to turn off? was created by mapache64
Hi,
I want to turn off the Ajax email checker for backend, because somebody have to change a lot of entries and now have to wait every time 15 seconds until the check says, that he can not check the email. That's naughty.
Any idea?

Ajax email checking can't be disabled from backend without core changes. It shouldn't take so long to check, but this is already a known issue. Please see the below thread regarding the ajax checker as well as a fix.
