Switch from https to http after registration?

Switch from https to http after registration? was created by byrannewell
After people register as a new user, every link on the site is appended to an https version of the site, and we need it to be http. We would like the registration process to be secure of course, but after that is finished, we would like to not have the user be in a secure area anymore. What settings do I need to adjust to accomplish this? We are using CB Subs.

If you're using Authorize.net to accept payments on-site then you must be running in HTTPS to do this. You can't switch back to HTTP with a POST or it will kick a browser security error. Users would need to switch back to HTTP manually. If you're using PayPal for instance then you've no need for HTTPS and can disable it within CBSubs and if requiring it for CB login can be disabled within the module. Please see CBSubs > Settings > Credit Cards for further configuration.
