CBSUBS unable to manualy upgrade membership

CBSUBS unable to manualy upgrade membership was created by martysodfoot
When logged into the backend as a SuperAdmin I get the error message "not allowed" when trying to manualy upgrade a membership or adjust a memberprofile... Any ideas where to start investigating this issue?

if on Joomla 1.7 (guessing - please give versions next time) make sure that your suparadmin account only belongs to superadmin group and not to another group also.

sorry about that: I'm on Joomla 1.5.23 running CB 1.7 and CBSUBS 1.2.2 so there are no groups involved (like Joomla 1.7)...

any other thoughts?

Does disabling "CB Paid Subscriptions" in CB > Plugin Management allow you to save users again? Curious if the issue is due to CBSubs or not as the error is extremely vague, which is not typical for CBSubs.

disabling the CBSUBS Paid subscriptions plugin does not help.

the error message is a strange one too: small popup box appears, everything else disappears (page behind popup goes completely blank), I click ok, get another message that the page can't load unless I resend the information, click ok again and the page loads again...

strange aye!?

Please disable non-core CB plugins from CB > Plugin Management 1 by 1 until resolved. If disabling CBSubs does not resolve it then that rules out CBSubs and suspect a 3rd party plugin maybe conflicting somehow.
