registration page with default field value

12 years 5 months ago #181300 by amir00251
My registration page is dynamic, depending on a field value, other fields changes using cb conditional.

The url for the registration is

www.domain.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=registers

now I want to have two urls for registration so that when user is redirected to the page, the default value of field A has been set to B.

or another url that default value of field A has been set to C.

Field A is the single select dropdown field but it can be also checkbox. Is it possible to add this functionality to url to direct the user to the right registration page.

Many thanks.

No as CB has no code in place to handle those scenarios. You'd need to develop a new CB plugin to parse the URLs parameters, determine which are fields, then apply their values to the respective field at registration.
