[#1593] Image field shows avatar as default image was created by fkang
Hi,

I was trying to create a new tab and I added an image field.
The problem is, when no image is uploaded, a default picture is displayed. That default image is the avatar.

You can check through this URL : www.linkywine.fr/index.php

You can use the following account :
username : test
password : 666666

The tab I created is "Company". If you look at the member list, for the user 'admin', it is the avatar which is displayed.

How can I set things to display an image only if one has been uploaded ?

Image fields always display the default image when nothing is supplied, working as intended. Default image is located as follows for your site.

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/default/images/avatar/nophoto_n.png

It's always used when no image is supplied for image fields.

And I guess there is no way to specify something like "show nothing if empty" or assign a default image for a specific field.

Nope not currently, but we've a feature ticket on forge so perhaps for a later release.

Thanks for posting this "feature-bug". Funny, I never noticed this behavior myself. Than i have to think twice about my last idea with multiple image fields. Looking forward to a new default image option in next release ;-)
